I would call all of the salvage yards until you are able to locate one where they have your car. Best to start as close to home as possible because you are likely going to have to go and pull it off. The Dallas County Auto Salvage yard on MacArthur will pull it for you, all you got to do is pick it up. They may mail it. I am not for sure about the mail thing though.

read (you meant main harness to radio sub harness.)
and car may have 5 or more harness for 5 or more very complex radio head end options new,so only the real service manual covers all that for sure,or if lucky 2nd fiddle here.

2003 Silverado. What wiring and color coding for an aftermarket radio installation?

You can purchase a direct fit harness that will plug directely into the original stereo plug and wire directly to the back of the stereo with all the wires matching color from any walmart/stereo shop

I totaled my 01 Nissan Sentra, I was able to take out my aftermarket stereo with the wireing harness already attached - I had te deck professionally installed because I did not trust myself to connect all...

I can't answer your question, but i can give you a suggestion. What I did, was go to eBay and buy a radio wiring harness for the vehicle I was going too install the radio into (I think this one is for you vehicle eBay auction # 330605601746, I have nothing to do with said auction. You can also try Amazon.com, but eBay for me was cheaper) You hook the radio up to the harness and just plug it into the car's radio plug. Since the car currently has an aftermarket radio installed, they may have cut the cars plug off and installed it directly. You would have to pull the radio out to check first.

I need the stereo wiring diagram for a 2003 F150 so I can install an aftermarket Pioneer cd player, can you help me out? Thanks!

go to the electronic store such as Best Buy or simuliar and buy the wire harness that plugs in the factory plug in and then just connect the same color wires to the stereo wire harness

Tried installing a new stereo system and had it in and going but the speedo wouldnt work so took out the stereo and it would work again then tired replacing fuse in stereo as it had blown and tried once...

your best bet is to buy a chiltons book for your car from an auto parts store. also i might add: reconnect your wires to the factory plugg you cut off and buy a wiring harness from a car stero installer or radio shack for your car it will automaticaly adapt your original harness (which your having trouble with) to a standard wiring setup for an aftermarket stereo. then its all about maching colors :)

Just installed aftermarket stereo in 1995 Ford

The memory (unswitched) wire, usually yellow, is not connected to a "hot all the time" connector...or its fuse has opened.

Need to install my stereo in my car with out the harness for the stereo

It would be best just to buy a new wire harness for the stereo & the aftermarket harness for the vehicle. If you give me the year, make & model of the vehicle & the model # of the cd player I can get you a price on the two pieces you need.

Installing an aftermarket stereo, spliced the wires and have everything connected including the remote wire to the factory amp wire but still no sound.

There is no remote wire on these newer trucks....03 and up....u have to buy the harness....although i didnt....i have an 03 gmc sierra and just pulled the schematic and matched the wires. And there is no programming to do on an aftermarket stereo.....I work for GMC and we cant program aftermarket stereos......if u buy the right harness ...and its over $100 then everything should work just fine.....and this does not disarm ur alarm system either....mine still works fine....hope this helps

Problem installing car stereo

THE FIAT BRAVO HAS A STANDARD ISO CONNECTION WHICH SHOULD PLUG INTO MOST AFTERMARKET STEREOS AND THEREFORE YOU WON'T NEED TO KNOW THE COLOUR CODE, IF THERE ISN'T ANY PLUG ON THE STEREO BUY AN ISO PLUG THEY'RE NOT EXPENSIVE AND CONNECT IT TO THE RADIO AND JUST PLUG IT INTO THE CAR HARNESS, YOU DON'T REALLY WANT TO CUT THE CAR'S WIRING
