They stand for "Wide" and "Telephoto". Although they are on the camera back, you should find that they sit at either side of the cameras zoom button. Move the button towards w to get a wide shot, move it towards t to get a close up or telephoto shot.
Hope that helps! Have fun taking your pictures!

These mean Wide and Tele, for the zoom. There should be a rocker switch nearby that operates the zoom lens. You don't say what camera it is, so I can't be more specific.

SOURCE: on samsung fino 800 what

W means 'wide angle' and T means 'telephoto'. Basically, it's zoom out, and zoom in, but traditionally W and T have been used. Not very obvious, is it?

I have canon g1 3.3 i turn on and it flashes letters CF what does that mean

Strange problem this one. Could mean insert a Compactflash (CF) card or that the CF card is full of maybe even Custom Functions are set. A photo of the display would help me better to solve the problem.

Memory card is alwasy flashing in D90

This indicates a problem with the memory card.

It may mean the card is corrupted and will have to be replaced. It's also possible that you may be able to fix it by formatting it.

You can format the card either through the camera menu or by simultaneously pressing the little trash can icon button at the top left on the back of the camera and the metering button on the top right next to the off/on switch.

Both are marked with red and show "format" in tiny letters. Press both buttons for 2 seconds. A flashing "FOR" will appear in the display. When it stops flashing, the card is formatted.

If there's a problem with the card, there may be some sort of error indication. If the card can't be formatted, it is corrupt and needs to be replaced.

If you have pictures on the card, they will be lost when you format it.

You might want to try to download any pictures from the card to your computer before you format it, but if the card is corrupt you may not be able to do that.

I am trying to upload pictures from x024 vivitar camera and the letters MSDC show on the monitor.what does that mean

That means that the camera recognizes that it's connected to a computer. You need to control the download process from the computer while the camera just sits there saying "MSDC".

I have a vivitar vivicam,i havent used it in a while. I just tried to take pictures and it says card protected. It lets me look at allthe features and my old photos but not take new ones. When i try CARD...

There is a little, and I mean little, lever on the top left, and if it's in a Locked positions...it is "protected"...move the lever to the Unlocked position and you shouldn't have any problem.

Computer won't recognize Canon Megapixel

More often than not it's a drive letter issue...meaning that when you plug in your camera, Windows assigns it a drive letter like "E:" but something else is already using that drive letter (like external USB drivers or card readers).

To correct this you can manually assign each device their own drive letter.

1. Insert the device (camera)
2. Right-click "My Computer" and select "Manage".
3. Click on "Disk Management"
4. Right-click the item in the list that looks like your camera and then click "Change Drive Letter and Paths."
5. Click "Change".
6. Give it a drive letter that is not being used.
7. Click OK.

The device should work instantly after that.

Camera fails to flash every time we take a picture

1.Turn off the camera.
2.Install a set of new or fully charged batteries into the camera. then turn it ON
3.Press the Flash Status button to scroll through the flash options until Fill Flash (the lightning bolt icon alone, with no other letter or symbol) is displayed. This forces the camera to use the flash. a86196b.jpg
4.Take a picture. [If flash still doesn't work contact Kodak support line 1 800 235 6325 (23KODAK)]

Cannot take pictures anymore and lost my pictures in memory card.

SD cards have a little slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.
