1. Disconnect the unit from the electrical
supply and wait for 3 to 4 hrs to get ice melted.
2. Pull out and unclip the drip tray on the ice
and water dispenser compartment.
3. Remove the screws from the ice and water
dispenser compartment front panel and
turn it over. The selector switch pack and
dispenser switches are now accessible for
testing.

Side by side ice maker won't stop letting ice out of dispencer unles you open freezer door

It sounds like a sticking actuator switch. the door light switch shuts off the auger motor when you open the door.

Bottom of ice dispencer freezes and wont let ice come out. It is a whirlpool side by side

Check the door flap on the freezer door , which opens to let the ice come thru . If this flap does not close completely , then it will let frost accumulate inside the ice bin , blocking ice from dispensing . If you had given the model number , I would give the part number for the door kit .

Water and ice maker not working line frozen everything frozen even when you turn it down is it the termostat or what

It sounds like your ICE Dispenser door is stuck partway open. Defrost the access door, ice bucket and crusher then check the Ice Dispenser door to be sure it fully closes, otherwise cold air will constantly drift out and freeze the whole mechanism.

Ice despencer opening keeps freezing and wont dispence

you have a bad door seal. replacement is better than repair. warm moist air is getting in and the condensation is freezing.

FROST BUILD UP ON ICE STORAGE BIN AND INSIDE OF

Most times this is caused by the dispenser door not shutting all the way. This causes moist air to be drawn in through the opening and the moisture will freeze in that area and also cause the dispenser door to have even more problems closing. Check the door and get me your model number so I can list the parts that are most likely causing this, Thanks Sea Breeze

My Maytat side by side with ice/water in the door is stuck on the water and will not push to the ice setting?

This is probably your switch or the button is frozen in the water position. I would check the ice dispensor inside the door first and see if there is ice built up on it. If so, you can run warm water over it with a pan under it to catch the water. If this is not it, call us and we will ship the switch to you. We will need your model number. Hope this answers your questions and resolves your issue. :>)
