The lower cord hook is held in by a screw removed with a phillips screwdriver. The upper cord hook has a nut on an "L" shaped bolt. The "L" goes through the hole in the handle. Reassemble the cord hook parts in the same way they were before.

wall outlet. Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet, but don't
connect the power to the printer just yet.
Perform a partial reset by disconnecting the power cord from the
wall. Then, hold the # and 3 while reconnecting the power cord. Release
the buttons once the cord is plugged in. When you release both buttons,
the issue should be resolved.
Perform a semi-full reset if the partial reset did not work by
pressing and holding # and 6 while reconnecting the power cord to the
printer and hold for 1 min after plugging in the power cord. When you
release both buttons, the issue should be resolved.
Verify that the phone cables are properly inserted into the wall
jack and the back of the printer if you are receiving a "Phone off the
hook" error message.

Monitors need power cords to function, & there is nowhere near enough power in the data cable to power the monitor. So, it sounds like the power cable got pulled out somehow and is now lying on the floor. The power cable will be a small plug like you have on a radio or other similar devices instead of the standard sized plug that older monitors have. Once you plug the power cord back in, it should be fine.
your printer the g85 on the backyou will see below yhr bar codes where the power cord is four connections. looking at it from the back facing you on the far right is the power cord next to the power cord is the cord from the top lid second from the left i dont use this but i think it is the serial connection and far left connection is the usb cable the usb is the best on to use the two phone lines on what i call the leg or base far left remmber they need a special phone cord most cords only have two wires hooked up this on needs all four or it just want work right.hoop this helps
