Try to reset your tom tom gps device, that way your language will be back at the default language. To reset your tom tom hold down the power button for about 15 seconds, it will restart itself automatically, that way you will have to chose the language once again. Or you can simply remove the battery and reinstall it in once again. Or you can connect it to a computer and format the gps and download its software back on. That is a sure solution
You can also follow the steps below, but you have to be logical about the position where these options are in the language you mistakenly chose.
Tap the screen to bring up the main menu,
Tap change preferences,
Tap the arrow in the bottom right corner until you see change language,
Tap change language,
Follow the instruction on the screen to confirm the language of your choice,
Press TOOLS (the spanner symbol in the right bottom corner of the screen which shows VIEW MAP and WHERE TO)
Press SETTINGS (The spanner symbol) or LOCALE (The blue symbol) on models that don't have a settings symbol
Press LANGUAGE (the Lips symbol)
You will see a screen with 3 items on it. VOICE, TEXT LANGUAGE and KEYBOARD If you need to change the voice to english press VOICE and select an English voice.
If you need to change the text language press TEXT LANGUAGE and select English or American English if you're in the USA
U gotta read the manual inside. Else what i always do was try changing everything..since there is system restore built in the mp3 then there would not be a problem. but remember to backup ur songs first..
