There are two ways to overcome this uneven drip of coffee into the cup.
1- Make sure the machine is placed on a level counter top. The coffee drips as a gravity flow. Machine placed on a tilted surface will allow coffee flow more on the tilted side.
2- It appears the coffee faucet outlet has not been cleaned/flushed with any coffee cleaners or descaling solution. Clean the coffee outlet as following:
* Prepare two or four cups of Baking soda solution.Fill the Baking soda in water tank and make few espresso, using the preground cycle.
** Then use two to 4 cups of descaling solution and repeat the process making several espresso.
Try this, if the machine has a pregrind door(usually on the top front) then use the button to tell it you are using pre grind coffee, if water comes out the spout this way then the grind on the grinder is too fine, if it goes out the drain then the coffee passage is blocked, remove the brew unit and check/clear tubes, also clean the spouts on the door of the unit.
Machine is still under warranty. Go to your instruction manual and call Delonghi about this problem. They will replace unit for shipping charges only. Tell them problem you are having, sometimes they tell you how to solve problem.
