So Brad Brown, if this is what is broken and you take it to a repair shop, what would you expect to pay? I am trying to decide if it is worth it if the TV is 6 years old and we could go get a new one for $350.So Brad Brown, if this is what is broken and you take it to a repair shop, what would you expect to pay? Change input device to some other like a DVD player. Look for loose contacts in RC jack, cable, sockets. Look for any jammed buttons on TV or on remote.
Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry. If problem persists, call in a qualified service technician.
I turn on my DYNEX LCD-TV model
DX-L26-10A and the screen says 'Please Wait" for a few seconds and then
I hear the voices for the channel, but there is no picture and there is
a buzzing sound coming from the back of the unit.
you need to press the channel up button 3 times if yo get message as please connect av sources. then do the manual channel search for 2 times. it should solve the problem.
It is not cost prohibitive to repair time for a new TV I am afraid I can not give you an exact quote but a 32' Philips screen is 1100 dollars. Thats 200 more than I paid for the TV
