Blue tint/cast over the whole screen can eb from video cable is not properly seated/bent pin, or in the Video card. I would try checking and reseating the video cable first, also try it on another PC to find out if your PC has the problem or not.

I get a pop up with a RED CONTRAST screen every few minutes It sometimes goes away if I push the contrast button on my Dell monitor. but it will usually come right back. I have tried everything to stop...

You can try the monitor on another computer to verify it is the monitor and not the display card at fault.

I'm assuming this is an LCD monitor. If you are sure the monitor is the problem, then your monitor's display driver circuit is probably getting close to failing. When one of the three colors (red, green, blue) becomes intermittent, the screen takes on the hue of the working colors. In your case it sounds like the blue is starting to fail.

A repair technician may be able to replace the circuit.

Normal screen is white background, but lately I am getting a blue tint that clears up sometimes and sometimes not. Please advise

Try hooking up another knowng working monitor to the computer and see if the blue tint comes back intermittently.

If it still comes up then you know your video card is the culprit. If the blue tint goes away then you know the original monitor is bad.

Blue tint

Check the pins on the end of your vga cable from the monitor to make sure that the pins aren't bent.

If they are not bent then it could be a problem with the monitor itself. Try resetting the defaults on the monitor itself and see if the problem goes away if it does then your set.

If the problem still exists then try a different known good working monitor on the computer. If you still get the same problem then its a problem with the video card. If the problem goes away then you know its a problem with the monitor and would need to be replaced.

Monitor screen changes from regular color to a green tinted screen?

Connect a different monitor to your computer, if it still displays the same fault the the problem is the video card and you need a replacement.

Monitor is blueish

If the Blueish problem appears try play around with the VGA cord and see if the Colors comes back, if not, try hiting the monitor to see if the lines and color problem comes bcak to normal. If not your monitor's circuit board needs some dry solder, it could be the cold solder problem. Cheers.

Blue tint on computer display monitor

Try
1. Unplugging the video cord from the back of the computer (and screen if it comes off) and plugging it back in. Sometimes it can become loose and cause a screen to have a abnormal color contrast
2. Updating the drivers to your card
3. Trying a different monitor on the computer. Mind you, if you plug in a differant monitor and the color stays the same. Check the videocards pins on the back of the card. I dont know if you gave all the info on how it became like this, so maybe it got undone and plugged back in forcably and one of them got bent? I
Also if the pigment goes away. Plug the normal one back in and if its gone, great!, if its back. Try the OSD settings on that monitor. Still no luck. The monitor is junk.

Hope that helps

Monitor screen changes from regular color to a green tinted screen?

Is the cable connected securely? You may need to check your video card also. You may be able to disconnect the cable and get a red, green, blue icon on the screen. If that appears normal then there is nothing wrong with the monitor itself, it may be the cord or the video card.

Hope this helps!
