Hello there
F6 error code - The dishwasher can't take on water. Check that the water
inlet is properly connected, the stop tap valve is open and that water
supply is otherwise available to the dishwasher. Also check for kinks or
blockages on the water hose. if all is good than you may have a problem with the solinoid valve for the water or the cycle timer may be faulty and the door switch may be bad or not working properly so
you will want them checked for ohms and resistance if they are found bad they need to be replaced
Testimonial: "i had tried the water thing by manually adding water but the problem did not go away. i will need to check the door switch & timer. will let you know."
An F6 fault code - indicated by the green light flashing in sequence next to the start button - is indicative of a water inlet problem.
First of all check that the water tap the dishwaher connected to is fully open. If this does not work check that the feed pipe from the water source to the appliance is not blocked.
If neither of these two things are the problem then you will need to order a new flow meter/ reed switch and this will sort your problem out.
The Whirlpool UK spare part number you'll need is 481241868368
Strange, I started and fixed F4 with a filled-today, now I'm faced with F6 error .
I see the water flowing in and the propeller to turn, I checked the reed switch and the cables. The reed switch tooken off shows open circuit, when the water comes in it shows short almost circuit.
I'm going mad because I thought I won 3 hours before :>)
Please help
the machine is Whirlpool ADG 8652
