Verticle red line in the middle of my screen - Compaq Presario CQ60-220US PC Laptop

If it does not disappear in a little while, just ask the shop repair or bring a new screen. Must be a guaranty case.
After installing my computer screen, I had vertical lines in the middle, but after some time (In my memory about a few hours) they all disappeared and never came back.

This problems is not the causes by a human or an objects by hitting the LCD screen panel wright?If,yes this problems can't be repair,the LCD screen panel it dead.The tv now,only can be used as spare parts,not worth as a whole tv anymore.If tv it develope all these colors lines by it self?Yes,this tv can be repair,the board call the T-Con decoders board is the causes and the problems.This T-Con decoders board sit right at the middle botton of the LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-Con decoders board for the replacement.

It should have a technician for a lot of reasons-- verification of symptom, experience, part # look-up, warranty. You can usually get a diagnosis of parts and labor for a leesor charge.

Bad panel address driver board or bad panel.

Sounds like your LCD panel is failinf and will need to be replaced it is going to be costly around 1500

This is a common problem with LCD screens. It is pixel line damage and the screen is permanently damaged and is not repairable. It will probably get worse. The only answer is to replace it

If the lines are thin and close together running horizontally, it may be the vertical driver, but that usually takes out the resistor and sometimes the diode in the B+ for the vert. Also you must replace the caps that caused the problem in the first place.

The vertical hold keeps a normal picture from rolling either up or down. You don't have a normal picture (raster) here.

The problem you are having is a vertical deflection problem. The screen is being compressed to a thin white line. It's probably a defective vertical output module or transistor. This part is not too expensive. Less likely would be a vertical deflection coil, which would be more expensive because its usually glued to the picture tube and harder to replace.
