SOURCE: DCC-1150 Coffee Maker does not have power

Talked to Cuisinart tech support and they told me to unplug and leave it for 2 hours... that resets it to the factory defaults.
It looks like a thermal fuse might have blown inside your appliance.
If a thermal fuse has failed, there is probably another problem inside.
If the appliance is 4 months old, still cover under manufacturers warranty, Call the Cuisinart customer service to ask them where to find an authorized service center.
Hope this works for you.

SOURCE: Need replacement lid for Rival crock pot

OKAY...I'll help you figure this out

Rival doesn't even acknowledge that model number (3154) in their replacement parts. Makes me think we either have the wrong model # or the wrong manufacturer OR more likely we are missing a few of the prefix letters to the model number.

Please double check and make sure you are looking in the right place for it...here's a pic on Rival's website on where to look on the crockpot: http://www.crock-pot.com/CustomerService.aspx?id=rpt

If you are certain it's a Rival and the number is "3154" then call their customer support # at 1-800-323-9519.

If you discover the model number does have a few prefix letters, be sure to enter that on their search page (which is the same link I posted above.)

Not sure what the replacement part will cost but for $35 you can get a used 3154 with lid on ebay: here (that kinda proves there is such a model - so you may have to call Rival at the number listed above.

If this solves it for ya, please let me know by rating this answer. If not let me know. :-)

I have a pride victory 9. And I need to know how to remove and replace the speed pot.

Re-check you have removed all of the screws as they sometimes have a extra ones positioned in a hidden and difficult places to get at or you need to remove another trim piece to release the panel you want to take off, possibly the knee panels on the tiller bar. The pot and key barrel will be mounted to the trim panel directly so won't be holding the trim down. The trim panel itself may be held in place with moulded clips so you may need to GENTLY lever along the seam between the panels to 'Pop' the panel loose.
Most scooters of that type have a speed pot that is held in place with a small nut. The plastic 'button' you twist to alter the speed setting is a 'push on' cover. It will be a tight fit but it should simply pull straight up and off revealing the small nut holding the pot in place.

On my Berhinger pmp 5000 powered mixer the mic trim pots seem very touchy. There is almost nothing on them until they are almost at maximum at which point you get feedback issues. How can I check to see if...

When using the trim with mics such as SM58's, etc. the trims often wind up at about 3 o'clock in normal use. You set the trims by pressing the PFL buttons down and setting the level using the led display histogram so that at maximum level of talking/singing the display never goes clear up to clipping.
IF you have feedback, then you have issues of mic location and speaker location. The critical point of feedback is far too critical to set with the trim controls.
Your main speakers should be toward the audience from the mics, not so the mics can "hear" the main speakers.
Monitor speakers are ALWAYS a problem with feedback... performers want more monitor, but depending on the acoustics of a stage, reflection from the back can get into the mics or the mics may not be directional enough... SIngers that choose to hold the mic and wave it around are a soundman's nightmare! They let the mic point toward a monitor and away goes the feedback.
The PMP5000 has a lot of power.
While your at it, PLEASE read my tip on FIXYA about PMP mixers regarding the hazard of using Speakon to 1/4 inch speaker cables... ESSENTIALLY never allow the barrel of channel "A" output 1/4 inch to be grounded as it, instead of the tip of the jack is the HOT lead !!!! This isn't in the user manual... I fix these things and discovered this hazard from the schematics.

I have a Pride Legnd..the scooter started loseing speed, I would adj the speed pot and the unit would stop, adjust back down and unit would run, but slow. I left the speed speed controller alone and unit...

hi, first you need to check the connections to the batteries then to the motor controller, and don't dismiss the speed pot, disconnect the speed pot and try a normal 5K pot inplace of it, if the scooters responds you find the problem just a case of getting the right speed pot. Check the freewheel switch, normally it located on the motor side.

Uniden UH-013 squelch

Had an issue with this unit since new. Squelch adjusted too high. Not hearing some signals showing on meter. Solution - find a trim pot labelled "Meter" on the PC board and adjust it like a knobby squelch control. Made a big difference to the number of received stations. Down side is I need to use SQT tight squelch sometimes.

Will not fill pot

Most likely you have some lime-scale build-up. When you brew a pot, it only brews the same amount of water that it takes in. When the inlet is restricted with scale, not enough water is let in for a full pot. You've adjusted the timer, so when you clear the inlet, you should set it back down so you don't overflow the pot.
It also could be just something cought in the inlet orifice (result is the same). Either way, start where the water is connected to the machine and go from there. Sorry I can't be more specific, scale is an elusive devil.
In the future, try using soft water.

Good luck

Alinco dj-v5 HT deviation adjust

To adjust the deviation of this radio, you don't have to take it apart. If you take the battery pack off, there is a sticker on the back of the radio saying Alinco. Pull that sticker off and underneath are the variable resistors. See the service manual for more details on how to make other adjustments.

First, make sure you note the present position of this pot so you can turn it back if you have to.

If you don't have any equipment to measure deviation, make a contact on the repeater and try turning the pot in small increments and ask the person to help you set the deviation so your voice sounds good through the repeater.

Once set, if the repeater has a touch tone test, go through and make sure all your tones are being properly decoded.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

Good luck!
