Hello i ahve a netgear dg834g. I have tried to default using the admin and password. Password seems to have been changed, idont know it, what do i do know? please help

The first solution is to reformat your system, while it could wipe your data.
if the data is very important, you could try some password unlocker tool to remove the pw, it generally takes few mintures.Hope helpful.

If you don't want to reformat your system, I think you have to make a rest disk or use some tool to do all the job for you. Such as Windows Admin Password Recovery . Burn a boot CD with the program, and insert it into the problem computer and your password will be reset to "Blank". http://www.windowspasswordsrecovery.com

Hi!

Default username/password are:
Username: none (leave blank)
Password: admin (all small letters!)

If you've changed the default password, you'll have to reset the device, using the reset button on it's back.

How do i find user name and password for my router

default is

username: admin
Password: password

If it was changed and you dont' know it, you will have to reset the router. There is a reset switch either on the back or bottom of the modem. While plugged in hold the switch in for atleast 30 seconds or until all the lights flash on the router. This will clear the router to factory. You will then have to setup the router like day one.

I have a Netgear wireless router MR814v2, and am trying to log in to the Router. When I type the given address: http://192.168.0.1, it prompts me for the user/password, which on the manual is supposed to...

It seems that teh password has been changed. If you dont remember the password, the router needs to be reset to factory defaults.

Cannot login and have reset....

use the console cable . By using this u can able to go inside the router and after going inside just give the respective IP and after giving the ip to the router u can access the router by using Internet Explorer .

Cannot get password authorisation for netgear router

The default username and password for the Netgear DG834G router is:

username: admin
password: password

If that does not work (i.e., the default password has been changed), then the only way for you to log into the router is to restore the router back to its default factory settings. Then you will be able to use the default username and password above.

To restore the router's factory default settings, you must use the Default Reset button on the rear panel of the router.
1. Press and hold the Default Reset button until the Test LED turns on (about 10 seconds).
2. Release the Default Reset button and wait for the router to reboot.

Router Set-Up

I do not know how to find out the password if they are not the default for Netgear, however you can try to reset the router settings to defaults. Use a paper clip, and push in a small button between where you plug in the power and Ethernet cables(while the router is on). After this the user name and password should be back to default, which are user name: "admin", password: "password" without the quotes.
