Code for PROVIEW Television

I need the code for a ProView television. I just switched to DISH network and one of my remotes can't recognize MUTE?!

PLEASE HELP.......Jayne

There should be a list on the DISH network website.

I could not find a code for that TV brand but I have provided instructions on performing a power scan to possibly find a code with your DISH remote that will work for your TV. I hope this helps.

Remote: Basic Remote (Television Only)

Turn the Television On.
Press and hold the TV Power button for three seconds until the LED flashes.
Press and release the TV Power button.
Press and release the Up or Down Arrow on the remote until the television turns off.
After the television turns off, press and release the OK button.
Test functionality with the TV.
Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

Need a code for my remote from an Element tv

If you use Philips universal remote with 4 digit codes; use Proview codes instead of element or Polaroid tV codes. Mine element TV works with 1104.

If you use other universal remotes look up proview codes and try them. Proview makes both element and polaroid TVs.
