I purchased a sylvanis lcd tv and it won't work with my comcast cable remote...I can't turn it on or off with it or turn up or down the volume. i've called my cable company 3 times and they can't seem to help me. Can you help?

Damaged component/s at it horizontal scan output stage circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. Setup codes for Sylvania TV with AT&T Uverse remote contol are:

1004, 1007, 1018, 1027, 1047, 1056, 1057, 1059, 1060, 1061, 1103, 1124, 1145, 1150, 1153, 1279, 1296, 1387, 1464, 1483,1046, 1465
Proceedings:
1. Power ON the device you want to programme.
2. Press and Hold the appropriate Mode key [TV,DVD or AUX] on the remote control.
3. Whithout releasing the chosen Mode Key, press and Hold OK key simoultaneously.
4. Release both the Mode key and OK key. All the mode keys should flash twice.
5. Enter the four digit serup code by pressing the number keys on the remote control.
The Mode key will flash three times indicating correct entry and return to normal operation. When an invalid code is entered, the selected mode key will give a long flash to indicate that you have not entered the setup code correctly. Should the remote control time-out before you complete the code set-up, you will need to start over.
6. Point the remote control at the programmed device, and press the Power Key once. The device should turn OFF. If it does not turn OFF, repeat steps 2 through 6 trying with next code until you can get the correct code for your set. If the set turns OFF when you point and press Power button, it means that your device have accepeted the code. You may have to spend some time before your device. Note: Be fast as you can when doing the steps otherwise the remote will time-out, and you have to repeat the proceedings. Keep all the settings in mind first and proceed. OK.

Let me inform you - Blue Screen has nothing to do with Remote. This is a Hardware problem. More likely, you need to get it repaired by calling a tech.

Before you call, make sure you have the correct connections. Usually this might occur, if there is no Signals or if you might have Turned DVD/VCD on.Check the manual to turn it off. Also, plug off the cord for 30 minutes and then again plug in the Power cord and see, if that could help you.

I bought a "Universal Consolidator" today for my own SRT2113, and it works like a dream. It's the 15 dollar universal remote you always wanted. Its menu, channel searching, volume, and, yes, the infamous GAME MODE even works (use the input button)!

I have the same TV and the same problem. I exchanged the Cable remote for a new one and did the auto search. (hold the tv button/Sel key then channel up key) It worked with the new remote. I believe the code is 121

1st - This remote is not a One For All remote. it is a Zenith remote. ZEN450 Universal

3rd - If none of the codes work, its possible that you may have to get the equivalent to the original remote. The Anderic RR0108UD for Sylvania TVs. this remote will work without programming and will also do the "GAME" input button. This is the best way to go.
