Fauklty battery or PSU. Something could have blown inside the laptop at the power interface. Remove battery then connect PSU some will allow this. If still nothing can only be inside - needs ot go to a shop.

Acer emachine s525.it will not power on,it refuses to charge.the charger lights up but nothing.I have tried using a different charger for another laptop it also shows that there's current coming...

The AC jack may be damaged due to pulling on the cord. Make sure the other cord/charger/transformer is the EXACT same power spec before plugging in, it may fry the laptops internal PSU.

Will an E-Systems 2512 Laptop refuse to start if its the battery is defunct

Take the battery out and try starting it with the power cord only. If it starts then there is your answer. If it doesn't start then either your power cord/charger is dead or your motherboard is.

It refuses to work with AC power & also the fan does not work.

These units now tend to over heat. Try to get yourself a dock or cooling dock for the laptop. As for the AC power try another AC plug but reminder the same voltage. You can try to open up the notebook to see if there is anything loose and replace the fan.
