Hello, I cannot power on my Element Electronics FLX-2610 26 in. HDTV LCD TV. I turned it off the regular way and the red light is on but I cannot turn it on. Any easy solutions?

This is a very common issue with that model. There are filter capacitors on the power supply board that fail and keep the back light power section from starting up correctly so you get no picture on the screen. The FLX-1910 uses the same power supply board of the Polaroid TLA-01911, below is a link to information showing how to repair this power supply board.

the transformer for the backlight is usually what fails on the elements especially if the logo comes up briefly then the screen goes out. I would check the transformers.

Hello,

White screen only / no picture is a sure sign of a failure in the power supply board. Your TV is getting power to the back lights but the control board voltages are not getting through so it is not displaying the picture right. This is an easy repair to do, you will just need to replace the filter capacitors on the power supply board. This Element model is actually made by Funai and is the same as the Polaroid FLX-01911c TV. Tries tv unplug,replug it back like about an hour.By letting the tv resetting itself back to the tv factory setting.Now,the tv should be working again.If it still have the same result.Mean the tv power supply board,that the board where the power a/c plug into it.The causes and the problems.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

you can unplug the power cord and drench the power and after go ahead and plug in back the TV and try to start it

Just because fuses are intact does not mean it is not damaged. Sometimes a small spike of power does not blow a fuse but damages Transformer windings Before the fuse! If there are no lights picture or sound think powersupply transformer primary.
