Hi

If you go to your programmes you should see you web cam not knowing which operating system you have i cannot navagate you directly to it

some laptops call it cyberlink yocam or something like that just look in programmes for something to do with cam and you should find it then click on it and it should start

and if you search for it then right click and copy it then go to your desktop and paste it you could put a shortcut there

and if you are running windows 7 you could pin it to your taskbar if you wanted to

This model Compaq laptop does not have a built-in WEB cam.
You can check the specs from this WEB site.

To use video call with Skype you need to purchase an USB WEBcam, connect the WEBcam into the Compaq laptop's USB port and install the WEBcam driver that came with the WEBcam.

This notebook model does not ship with integrated webcam. You can see a webcam slot but it has no lens. You can look for Imaging Devices entry in the device manager. it wouldn't be there.
