Not functioning ! Cork screw not inserting to

twist the top black part to remove (it's the cap for the usb charger)
press the little white 'eject' button to start a cycle, then carefully place a small screwdriver inside the throat and hold the cork in place.

The motor should drive it out.

What's likely happening is the cork broke off while opening, and there's not enough in the machine to "catch" the feature meant to stop it from rotating on extraction. Hence using the screwdriver to keep it from rotating.

EDIT: Yes you can push the black thing in to try to catch the cork and extract it...I highly recommend NOT using your finger to do this...

I have the same type of device and I replaced the battery pack with Nickel metal hydrate batteries off eBay, cost about $10.00. Of course I had to make up the cell pack and install and solder the battery pack in.

Cork flooring has many advantages. Cork flooring is comfortable and easy to walk on, the cellular structure of cork makes the floor very durable which can absorb sounds and blows making the cork floor a great pick for apartments and condominiums.

Waiter style-light and easy to use and move around. Twist the squiggly part into the cork as much as you can and then pull the cork out.
lever style-don't need to be strong. you just squeeze the sides together and pull the corkscrew up and the cork easily comes out.
twist- twist handle and cork comes up. similar to both waiter and lever styles.
pump-inserts co2 and cork pops off right away.

Get you a can of Computer air at walmart and purchase you a cork that is smaller than the tube make sure the cork will insert at least half way into your drain tube. Now preparation the air tube on the air can has a stem that either inserts into the can or is built in. Preferably purchase the one that is built on to the can. make the air can stem a hole in the cork small enough where you have to force threw the center of the cork the air can stem making sure it goes all the way threw the cork and blow it once or twice to make sure during the insertion it did not get clogged. after all this insert in into your tube and with several blasts form the can MAKING SURE CAN IS UPRIGHT of air this should dislodge any debris in the line clearing the clogg repeat process till clear.

You can push the cork into the bottle and extract it by using a cloth napkin inserted
into the bottle. It pinches against the cork and allows it to be pulled back out.

We had the same problem, and we took the thing apart, unscrewed the cork from the corkscrew and put it back together. You have to make sure you line everything up properly inside, though. There are contact points that need to be lined up on the inside.
