I dropped my phone today i switched on and everything was working besides the touch screen ..please help

PLease take a backup , then switch off the phone and press and hold vol down and then power then select clear storage and reset the device .
If that doesnt help then looks like your touch screen digitizer ( glass) is gone bad . You ll get a replacement one on ebay or visit a dealer .

kindly get it to the Samsung service center, touch screen problems can only be solved by the service agent

ceck ur touch screen conector or change the touch

try switching the phone off and on again

is there the "calendar" and "contacts" menu buttons on the bottom of the black screen?

that's what would happen to me. i just turned off the touchFLO 3D on the today screen (by going to settings, then today screen options) and it seems to not go black anymore... even after being untouched for hours.

not sure if the same thing is happening to you, but it worked for me.

Hi there, You are lucky that it is on... try one thing.. put the fun under the sunlight for half an hour or may be 15 min if its too hot there and try it again...
if this will not work then try to open the phone if you can clean the top screen area and put it back (try at your own risk) and it will do..

try to replace flex,,, if no luck replace also crystal ic beside the connector....

I encountered this problem today, and I have figured out a solution!

Switch the Wireless switch on the bottom of the Pocket PC to the Off position, then back on.

Voila, your touch screen should respond now.
