On my digitech UHF radio what does the button with the C next to it do? it makes a loud beeping noise

  • grumpytugger Aug 18, 2011

The C button is used as a call signal too other users with the same radio ie a pair will only let you call every 2 mins.
Arrow button locks and unlocks keypad when held down for a few seconds.

Hold the power button down for a few seconds until it turns on. The power button has a symbol that looks like a circle with a line in the middle.

How do I factory reset a oricome 200rx uhf

Factory reset
If the radio's display locks up or stops functioning properly, you might need to reset your UHF radio. Caution: this procedure clears all the information you have stored in your UHF radio.
Before you reset your UHF radio, try turning it off and on again. If your UHF radio is still not functioning correctly you may need to reset the UHF radio! While holding the F/DPX button, turn the UHF radio on. INITI AL will be displayed for 1 to 2 seconds, the radio will then return to its original display.

Digitech uhf radio brand new I am in Sydney. Worked initially but since I've pushed a few buttons can't seem to receive anyone? (novice)

You have probably enabled CTCSS (tone squelch). Look at the controls and try to find the one that sets that value. Otherwise, check www.mods.dk for a user manual.

W do I turn off squelch control on a digitech DC-1065 marine radio hand held 5 Watt

Hi David,

Before I try to give advice, I need more info.

I possess a Digitech DC1065 UHF 80 Channel CB hand held, so there seems to be some confusion here.

I live near Perth, Western Australia.

Firstly, How many channels does your radio have?

If the answer is 80, then what you have is a UHF CB, not a marine band radio.

Marine band is VHF with 87 Channels, in Australia that is, and the default channel is always 16.

Digitech are an Australian radio manufacturer, so you'll get great backup service.

If your radio is not defaulting to Ch16, then I am right about it being a UHF CB.

Therefore, it is useless for VHF anything, let alone Marine band.

I'm almost 100% sure this is a UHF CB in your possession.

Try this to prove me right please.

Reply to me with your Country and nearest city, I'll then be able to find a solution for you real quick, though I believe I already have.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Peter

I have a uniden uh7700nb it showing c03 37 on the led display how do I return the unit to show the UHF channels ie 1 to 40 ?

Hi Clive,

Simple method is to turn off the radio, take out the batteries, and wait for about 15 minutes or longer. Then replace the batteries (making sure they're fully charged), and turn on the set, all being well, the radio will be reset to factory default status.

I hope this has answered your query.

Cheers,
Peter

Radios do not transmit voices. They worked before but not now. I can hear all bells and whistles but not voices..batteries are fully charged, no damage, tried a lot of different channels

Is the QT option turned on? Make sure it is off. Also make sure the IVOX option is turned off. You can get to these by cycleing through the options with the menu button.
