My nintendo wii keeps telling me to step off the board to start. I have tried all the checks everything is working properly and I checked it on the screen and it says the board is working properly. Please...

Unplug everything and make sure all wires are in-tact.
Re plug everything in securely.
If that doesn't work you have a short in your wiring and you need a new cable.

Hi, I have just bought a Wii fit and game, on trying to set it up and do the body test, it keeps telling me to step off the board when I'm not on it and it won't let me continue. What can I do?

It looks like there is something wrong with the board. Try one of the following:

1. Power off the board and power back on.
2. Step on and Off from the board.

If this doesn't do anything, try this:

1. Power off Board
2. Power off the Wii and remove the main plug.
3. Put all on back after a minute or so and see if it does the same thing.

If it does the same thing, then I suggest you consult or return the Board to where you buy it from.

Hope this helps.

My balance board keeps telling me to step off and press A in the body test setting up part. I step off and it keeps telling me to step off

The sensors need to be reseated.

  1. Take the batteries out.
  2. Take out the screws from each foot in every corner of the board using a Philips screwdriver. Remove the back cover.
  3. The sensors are located on each corner, it is a metal plate. Loosen the screws using TORX screwdriver.
  4. Re seat the small metal plates by putting it back. Don't screw too tight.
  5. Put the cover back and foot on. Put the batteries back in.

I keep getting the message to "step off and press A" for the body test.

You need to step off the pad, wait until it tells you to step on. Then you push A to conduct the body test. If your pad is turned off push the button on the front of the wii fit pad then repeat the first steps i described.

Jillian Michaels won't allow Wii Balance Board for weigh in

Actually, I had the same problem and discovered that you have to have the wii remote in your hand and that you must push the A button once you're on the board. Otherwise it just keeps telling you that you're moving too much.
