Nintendo Wii Fit for Wii Questions & Answers
We are a college and have purchased a wii fit
No. I believe that the software can only handle up to 8 despite the number of Mii's that you have on a system. Unfortunately, I think the best solution is three Wii consoles. You don't need a new balance board and software (unless you plan on more than one using it at the same time), but you will need to have three separate Wii systems.
Sorry about that. Good news is that the Wii console is getting easier to find than the fit. ;)
How can I change my bmi goal
You can't change your BMI Goal, but you can choose to lose a certain amount of pounds. I believe it can be done through the User Setting's if I remember correctly.
I'm trying to go through
Please be a bit more detailed in the problem. The Wii Fit Balance Board is very sensitive to weight shifts. Ensure that you allow the board to calibrate properly. To do this, I would suggest the following steps:
1) Place balance board on a sturdy, flat, smooth surface. If you have average-shag carpet, be sure to use the little adapters that fit over the feet. If the carpet is too thick, then it will NOT work properly. You may want to consider a small piece of plywood or something similar to set between the carpet and Balance Board.
2) Don't step onto the board until it has calibrated (this is when the board establishes its zero point). It will clearly say "Starting Up" followed by "Ok, Step On." After this, you can generally stay on the board unless a particular routine asks you to get off or for some reason it needs to recalibrate.
3) Finally, you must ALWAYS back out all the way to the Wii Fit Plaza (where you pick your Mii) if you change players. Once the board is configured for one player, it will only be suitable for that individual. Its sensitivity is based on an individuals weight. For instance, if the board is calibrated for a 3-year old's Mii, and an adult decides to play any of the routines on that Mii, the board will be over sensitive (calibrated for the lighter weight). Conversely, if an sdult's Mii is selected and a child plays a routine, the board may not detect the movement.
I hope these steps will help. If not, please offer a step by step explanation on what you are doing and I will try to reassess your situation.
Thanks!
How to clean a wii disc
You can use rubbing alcohol. If the disk is scratched some video rental places will fix it for a fee. You can also get a disk cleaner/ scratch remover device. There are cheaper ones but it gives you an idea of what to look for.
Weight
There's no straightforward way, but thee are some workarounds, like changing the date to the deadline, etc.
The easiest workaround, I think, is to force your wii into thinking you've made the deadline early. I put in that I wanted to gain, instead of loose, 2 lbs, so I'm going to fake out the wee into thinking I've gained that 2 lbs already, by either holding something that weighs an additional 2 lbs or adjusting the clothing weight to compensate.
Once the wii registers that I've passed the goal and allows me to make a new goal, I'll re-do my body test with my regular weight. My faked weight will be erased, but my new goal will remain.
Whats the diffrence with the wii fit plus and the
They are just two different versions of the Fit game. The actual Wii Fit device is the same. If you already have a Wii Fit, you can buy Wii Fit Plus as a stand-alone game without the device. The Plus has some newer exercises.
Wii repeatedly asks you to
This is a common problem. To fix this issue, you need to reseat the stress sensor.
Remove the foot from each corner using a normal Phillips Screwdriver.
- (keep them in the right order to put back later)
- Loosen (remove) the "stress sensors" small metal plate you see now at each corner using a "torx" screw driver.
- Re-seat the small metal plate by putting it back but don't screw too tight.
- Put the foot back on.
Hope this helps!
Cannot register character on Wii fit.
Are you pointing at the calendar with the wii remote?
Other than that... you might want to try re-syncing the remote with the wii, or change the batteries in it.
If none of that works, try cleaning the disc, a tiny bit of dish soap and a dribble of water should do the trick.
If all fails, something in wrong with the disc or the remote.
When i am trying to
Ok, I know you have said that you have done the syncing thing but please try it in this order -
1. Insert your Wii Fit disc and start the game
2. Press the Sync button on the board
3. Press the Sync button on the console after you have pressed the board Sync button (not both at the same time)
Hopefully this should work as the Wii software actually has to be running for the board to sync, you don't mention if the game is currently running when you have tried this so give it a go and see how you get on.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa
Four blue flashing lights
Have you synched it, i personally have never used the balance board, but there should be a sync button. At the bottom, push this while your wii or wii u is on.
Power
Try these steps!
- Insert a Wii Balance Board compatible game disc in the Wii console.
- Use
the Wii Remote to select the Disc Channel from the Wii Menu, then
select "Start" to begin the game. Press the A Button to bypass the
wrist strap screen.
- Open the small SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console.
- Remove the Battery Cover on the bottom of the Wii Balance Board.
- Press and release the SYNC button on the Wii Balance Board. The blue light on the board will start blinking.
- Press and release the red SYNC button on the Wii console while the blue light on the board is still blinking.
- The blue light will stop blinking and stay on steady once the syncronization is complete.
"Step Off Me and Press A" message while not on wii board
When you get this message, lift the board off the ground, press A, and wait until you get to the confirmation screen before placing the board back on the ground. You may have to try a few times to get the timing right. I have no idea why it thinks someone is on the board, but this workaround has solved the problem for us. Good luck.
