The power supply board could very well be defective. I would also check the Zsus board and the Xsus boards. If either of these boards fail it could also cause the power supply board to fail.
You can unplug the connectors to the zsus board at the power supply and try to turn the set on. If it does turn on, the power supply board is ok. If not, the power supply is bad. If the power supply board is ok, undo the plug connectors that power the Xsus board and hook up the plug connectors to the Zsus board. Turn the set an and see if it stays on or shuts down. Part numbers should be on the boards. Zenith is really LG Corp. Their customer support number is 1800-243-0000.
Hope this helps,
Steve

Kenmore Elite HE3 Dryer giving PF code only when motor is plugged in.

Hi,

This sounds like a power failure error. It happens when power flow is not occurring properly to your machine. You'll need to press the cancel button 2 or 3 times before the error is wiped away. If it comes back, please have your machine serviced. You can call kenmore to help with this by dialing 1-844-553-6667.

Thank you.

Repairing an RCA 50 inch LCD. Model number LB45RQ.

That's all you will see is the standby voltage if the set is off, when you push the power button you should see the PSON terminal go to about 3.5 volts from 0 and the other rails on the power board energize, if you don't see the PSON voltage you have issues with the main board, if you see that but the other rails don't have their voltages its the power supply that is bad

Haier LE50H3280 will not power on

If all power supply voltages are within specs, then it just might be an issue with your main board,.

If PS board has a relay make sure that it is also working.

Where is the reset breaker located on the ml121rt? Lights have been tested and work with an alternate transformer but noting using terminals a & b on the ml121rt.

ML121 does not have reset.
If transformer does not produce 12 volts across terminals A and B, then power pack has gone bad.

If override still works, then might be easiest to buy cheap plug-in timer, set power pack to override, and then plug power pack into cheap timer.

With receipt, power pack might still be under warranty.

Kenmore model:110.62974100 not heating. Tested heating element, thermal cut out, hi limit thermostat, and 220 at the outlet. All tested good. What am i over looking?

What you have not tested is the heater relay located behind the console. Disconnect power to the washer then remove the screws attaching the console rear panel to the console. The are two relays behind the console; the one with the red wires connected to it is the heater relay while the other one is the motor relay. Clean the heater relay terminals and ensure a snug fit connection then plug and start the dryer.

The relays are identical and can be swapped out; swap them out when the dryer still doesn't heat after the terminals are cleaned. Just make sure to label the wires and mark the terminals.

Replace the electronic control board, part number 3976627, if the dryer runs and doesn't heat after the relays are swapped out. Replace the heater relay if the motor doesn't run after the relay swap. The relay is part number 3405281.

Getting NO power

Test you thermal fuse (WPL 279973) (Cutoff, or high limit) these are all the same. It's located on the side of the element housing. If it is bad, besure to replace the cycling thermostat (295 degree F.) also.

Fridge works fine on shore power. When turn gas

What model fridge? Sound like you have a bad 12 volt heat element or there is a possibility the board is bad but the likely is the heat element.
You can remove the cover on the circuit board and unplug the 12 volt element. Do an Ohms reading on the element. Should be 35-35 Ohms. If that is ok Turn the fridge on and with a VOM check for 12 volt power on the terminals the heat element was plugged into. If there is no power the board is bad. There is also a possibility the upper board is bad. I would start with the lower circuit board. Check for power at the heat element terminals if you have power there then I would say you need to replace the heat element. The heat element is mounted in the boiler tube and just slides uo to remove it. Good luck

Sony KV-32S45 32" TV no power

If the power plug is fused (like in UK) check the fuse inside the plug.

Test a different power socket.

If there is no power at all, and the power cord is good, then it is a faulty power suupply board. Probably a capacitor on power board had blown.
The board must be tested and repaired by a technician.
