HOW DO I GET THE MUSTEK 1200 TO WORK ON MY WINDOWS 2000 XP

Hi. If you are using Windows XP or older version of Windows, you may download the driver at:

This is an older model and doesn't have drivers for Windows Vista and Windows 7.

according with Windows 7 compatibility Center isn't a windows 7 supported. The manufacturer is yet to write MUSTEK Scanexpress 1200 UB Scanner drivers for Windows 7. However, you could try downloading MUSTEK Scanexpress 1200 UB Scanner drivers for Windows Xp and try running them in compatibility mode. click here how to run them in compatibility mode y all this does not work you must have to contact manufacture for better support. hope this help

Mustek has the driver for your scanner but it only has it for Windows Xp, Windows 2000, Windows 98 or ME, plus you can install it on a mac.

Download the driver to your desktop and then install it. Keep in mind if your trying to run your scanner on some other operating system thats not on that page, then it won't work

You will need to go to the manufacture website and download the latest driver for windows XP if the unit has been discontenued and thus they do not have it then you might be shopping for a new scanner or you can find a linux distro for it to work with ether or try the manfacture website for a new driver.

Sorry, there is no Vista Drivers available for your printer. They must come from the Manufacturer - and Mustek has chosen not to support your printer with drivers.

There is no official driver for mustek 1200 for vista, due to it's age, but you can try installing the one intended for XP from: http://www.mustek.com.tw/Download/driv_scanr/europe/1200ed.html .

As far as I know, you don't need special drivers for HP Deskjet printers in vista, due to system having integrated drivers. But in case that the system doesn't recognise the device you can try with xp drivers (since there are none officially for vista) from: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=emea_africa&lang=en&softwareitem=dj-14939-2&os=228&product=375447&
