Check your remote wire on both the deck and amp... If the remote wire is loose it will turn the amp on and off constantly... Also check to make sure that the fuses on the amp it self are properly seated.

I have a 900 watt amp wired to 2 mtx 12's. it powers up fine but when the bass hits the power light fades away

Try using a 4ga ground cable. Ground it to the frame of your car. And use a 2ga and a inline fuse 100amp run this to your battery. And you need a cap. A 1000 watt will work good. Hope this helps....

2 MTX Thunder Problem.. Bridging?

Is there a option on the chanels that say ''Bridged''? If so, you can hook the subs up in parellel or series to get different ohm loads. Usually the lower ohms, the more power amp puts out. Those subs can handle 225 watts RMS whitch means the power it can handle constantly. If the amp gives more than 225 watts RMs, you could be at risk of blowing the sub. If you could give me the model # of the amp, I can be of more help.

Amp won't turn on, red light on amp is flashing

DID THIS JUST HAPPEN ALL AT ONCE ? OR DID IT GRADUALLY HAPPEN? CHECK GROUND FROM AMP , INSTALL ONE FARAD CAP . STOCK RADIO ISNT REALLY HELPING , MOST AMPS OF TODAY TAKE A HIGHER SIGNAL FROM HEAD UNIT . ADD ONE FARAD CAP AND SEE

MTX thunder 304 4ch red amp light comes on but no audio have triple checked all connections and they seem alright

if the lights on and there is no sound it's either a cd player issue or your rca issue or the inputs for rca's on the amp are no good. or you have your subs wired at a wrong load to your amp and it is in a constant protection to avoid burning up.

My red light on my amp is on and wont go out

Unfortunately I think you need to get it repaired or replaced .When a protection light will not turn off it is generally caused by an internal short and needs one or more replacement parts for it to come alive again.
