Frank,
I could not find a manual to refer you to as jacuzzi is very proprietary with their products, they want you to pay their techs for help. I will do my best to walk you through it using the parts diagram here: http://www.poolinspections.com/manuals/pumps/jacuzzi_magnum.pdf

Disconnect power
remove pump mounting nut
seperate motor from pump
remove the diffuser which is on top of the imeller
now remove the end cap at the rear of the motor (should be 2 1/4" hex screws)
this should expose the back end of the motor shaft.
find an open ended wrench to secure the end of the motor shaft we just exposed (typically is a 7/16" wrench)
*if this unit has a center screw securing the impeller to the other end of the shaft, unscrew this by turning CLOCKWISE (this would be a reverse thread screw)
next while locking onto the end of the motor shaft with the open ended wrench, spin the impeller counter clockwise until removed. This is where you will find the shaft seal. pay attention to how it is installed.
remove shaft seal
install new shaft seal
reassemble.
Note: it is highly recommended to secure new orings while replacing this seal (unless its new)
if you attempt this and one of the o-rings has deteriorated, it will not fit back together properly.

How do I change the seal on a whirlpool pump ja75

I don't think that you do. Chinese made circulating pump. Seals can be fashioned using parts from other pump seals but not available as a part. Replacement is the name of that game. The motor bearings used in the ja series pumps are not sealed and will fail when exposed to a leaking seal in a short time.

Pool pump leaks

This will be a ceramic seal that seals between the impeller (motor side) and the pump housing. The seal is hard to change if you don't have a shop. If by chance you do get it apart be sure not to contaminate the new ceramic seal surfaces. You should have new bearings installed in the motor while it is down and apart.

My hot tub is leaking from one of the pumps. how do i change the pump?

Sounds like you need a new Mechanical Seal for the wet end. Pretty simple job to change the seal kit.
It is also a lot cheaper to do that than purchase a new pump.

How to change the seals on a jacuzzi magnun force 1 hp pool pump

Hi,
If you haven't already figured out how to change the seals on your Jacuzzi Magnum Force pump, I can help by supplying a diagram.
Here is the parts explosion for that pump.
Start by removing the case/basket assembly, then the diffuser to get to the impeller. Loosen the impeller to get to the seal plate.
When going to the trouble of changing the shaft seals one should change all the hosing seals at the same time because its a lot of work.

I had to replace my pump motor and can't get my pump to quit leaking at the joint. I am trying RTV Sealer as we speak.

Did you change the seals? Whenever pump motors are replaced, the ceramic shaft (mechanical) seal should be replaced. Its also a good idea to replace the seal plate and diffuser seals.

How do you change the shaft seal on a polaris pb4-60 pump?

BE CAREFUL YOU CAN BREAK THE SEAL PLATE BY OVER INSTALLING THE #1000 SEAL , TAKE 6 BOLTS OUT UNSCREW IMPELLER THE TAKE THE 4 BOLTS THAT HOLD THE SEAL PLATE TO THE MOTOR, KNOCK OUT OLD SEAL FROM SEAL PLATE USE SOCKET THAT FIT OVER SEAL. I USE A 1 1/4 SOCKET. THEN REPLACE CERAMIC IN IMPELLER (READ INSTRUCTIONS WITH SEAL) OR TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL POOL PUMP MOTOR REPAIR GUY.. HAVE HIM DO IT . $ AROUND 40.00

I have a jacuzzi magnum 1500 pool pump which leaks. I changed the O-ring and it still leaks. If I have to change the seal on it, how do I change it. I tried undoing everything on this pump. Thanks!

You need a 201 seal for the pump. Most electric motor shops that work on pumps and of course pool store carry these. If you are unfamiliar with how to change the seal, the charges to have it done are usually low. We charge $15 - $30 depending on how much of the pump is brought in and therefore remains to be taken apart to replace the seal. The seal is about a $5 item.

If trying yourself, you will need to completely disassemble the pump, lock the motor shaft at the rear of the unit, spin off the impeller, and replace both halfs of the seal.

1999 cross country v70 awd crankshaft seal replacement

Your info is confusing. The rear cam seal is not inside the timing belt cover, and the crank seal is at the bottom of the engine, while the cam seal is at the top.

Is there oil at the top, around the cam seal? Or just at the bottom? It's common for the oil pump seal to leak. If you get the oil pump reseal kit, it contains the oil pump seal and gasket, as well as the crankshaft seal. Make sure you seal the oil pump bolts, Volvo has special copper washers for this purpose.

Just try to locate the oil leak before replacing any more parts. Sometimes it can be something simple like the oil cap seal or the oil trap housing.
