I have an epiphone ea7p professional guitar. It has a matching amplifier with a special 6 prong plug for this guitar. I need a new 6 prong plug. I would like to buy the entire cord that connects from the amp to the guitar.

Amazing guitar!

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the specialized plug you need. Being 1 out of less than 400, it is doubtful that they are still being made. However; any decent music shop will be able to repair your old plug.

What Epiphone model did I purchase?

Sounds like perhaps a Les Paul Special II, but more detail is needed to say for sure. There was a lot of variation in their Les Paul models. Posting a photo of both sides and the headstock is best.

-Has the guitar any binding, and what colour?
-Is the back of the guitar white or all black?
-Exactly what is on the front of the headstock, 'Epiphone', the 4-diamond logo, anything else?

Sounds like your truss rod needs to be adjusted. This should only be done by a professional. Take your guitar to a shop or guitar store that offers a service like this.

If you really want to do this yourself, though, here's a helpful video that will take you step by step through this:
Hope that helps!

Fixing a friends toggle switch on an epiphone

Here is a site:

http://www.gibson.com/Service/Tech/Schematics/

Look at the different versions of Les Paul and find the pone that matches the guitar. They are all near the front of the listing at the site.

The five pin switch is used on the "Ace Freely" version. IF the guitar is that one using the 5 tab switch you willl have to get the correct switch to replace it.

These switches are easily adjusted if it is just a contact problem. If the lever has been broken off they have to be replaced.

Constant buzzing in my 15 W amplifier

Make sure you have a ground prong on your power cord. Most input jacks nowadays are closed circuit. They have a switch built in that won't allow any sound without the cord plugged in. You may have a damaged jack that will give you a loud hiss, a loud hum or crackling depending on what volume your controls are set at.

Amplifier is buzzing when i plug in my les paul but ok with other

Several things to try:
- Probably already have, but another guitar cord.
- Ground switch on the amp?
- I had an older guitar that buzzed due to the pickups. While touching the strings, all was well - I was acting as the ground then. The ground wire broke, so it buzzed no matter what. The ground wire ran to the metal bridge.
- Play louder than the buzz! :)
