Frigidaire model fef336ece.oven and broiler wont heat up.stove top works fine so does the control panel.elements are fine.its electric

Hello angeleyez82 - The EOC (electronic oven control/control board) basically sends power to both the broil and bake elements. As long as the power supply to the range (240VAC) and wiring between the elements is correct, then typically only the element(s) or EOC could prevent the unit from heating. Hi Chris Stewart - If the bake element and the top of the range works, but just not the heating element, then you possibly have a bad broiler element or connection. However, if you are experiencing other performance difficulties, then the control board may possibly be faulty and needs replacing. Consult a professional for an accurate diagnosis.

You had a power surge when the power came back on and it took out the control board. I see this all the time in the field and replace these boards. Here is the part you need to order.

bottom element need to be replaced,unplug unit,and open the oven and unscrew the screws that hold it inplace,pull it out slowly and detach the two wires and replace with a new one install in reverce order

I would say to go and reset your curciut breaker first if this is a electric oven. needs 220 volts for both element to work

Oven was working, I had it on pre-heat, then I turned on the stove top, but the burners won't heat. When I turn on the stove top the stove makes a short BUZZ noise and the clock area lights up, when the burner is turned off all the lights go out. Please help, food prepared.

Most modern gas ovens and many broilers use a "glow-bar" style of igniter that glows red-hot to ignite the gas. If the igniter doesn't reach the proper temperature, the gas valve won't open. You may need to replace the igniter.
