I have a linskys wrt54g2 v1 router. I have my playstation 3 connected to it wirelessly. Everything has been working fine for months. Now all of a sudden I keep losing connection every 10-20 minutes. It's not the PS3, because it does this for my laptop too. The connection is lost for maybe 10 seconds then comes back. Is there any advice on what to do? I can hardly play a full game without getting kicked because i lose connection.

You don't need any kind of installation CD. Just open your wireless connection manager on the OS you're using in your laptop and connect to your wireless network.
If you need to configure the router, go to 192.168.1.1 in your web browser to open the router's configuration page.

/Sometimes you have to call the cable company and they will reset the modem online for you. After you have done the whole powercycle bit, you have to restart the computer. Make sure all the other computers or laptops are shut off when you reset.

Inability to connect to Internet

The easiest solution would be to use an ethernet connection. A second problem is probably on most cable modems you can either use a USB connection OR an ethernet connection you cannoot use both at the same time.
