How do I reset my password to access the router on my ipad

The password on the bottom of router is the factory password to access the routers setup functions
This password is usually reset to the users own pw by the person who installed or administers your router

In settings go to reset, network settings.. Make sure your router IP leases rent all assigned, set them for a 24 hour lease time.

you will have to contact the person who configured the router, they will have the encryption password. If it is your device and you forgot the password you will need to connect through the devices web interface and reset the password. If you forgot the admin password to the access point your only option is to factory reset the device and reconfigure it.

The password should be on the bottom or side of your router. If you still cannot find that then you can reset the router back to default settings by looking for a small hole which you can stick a pin into. Or hold the power button for 10 seconds if it does not have a reset hole.

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Are you able to access the configuration utility inside the router or are you asking how to do a hard reset?

To access the router page you need a working computer that is connected to the router. To access your router you need to use a computer that is connected to it. Open a Browser then type 192.168.0.1 or http://routerlogin.net. The Default username is admin and the password is password. Password is case sensitive.

Go to the Wireless Tab select Wireless Security under the Security Mode you will see there Network Key or Passphrase. The Network Key serves as a password or security code on your network to make it secure. Network Key is case sensitive.

I'm not sure if you're reffering to the password of the router or the password of the network or Network Key. You don't need to worry listed below are all the sters on how to obtain both password.

If you want to obtain the password or security on your router you need to access the Wireless Settings Page. To access the router page you need a working computer that is connected to the router. To access your router you need to use a computer that is connected to it. Open a Browser then type 192.168.0.1 or http://routerlogin.net. The Default username is admin and the password is password. Password is case sensitive.

Go to the Wireless Tab select Wireless Security under the Security Mode you will see there Network Key or Passphrase. The Network Key serves as a password or security code on your network to make it secure. Go to the Wireless Settings Page and look for the Network Key or Passphrase.

You can also reset the router to its factory state but you need to keep in mind that all settings will be back to its default settings. To reset the router press and hold the small reset button at the back of the router using a Pen or a Paper Clip for 15-30 seconds.

If you are talking about the "password" that you need to connect to your wireless network, you have to access the router buy having a computer plugged in it directly through ethernet and change the settings in the router.
