I have a cordless phone - rca 2511ORE3 - I am hitting dead ends on finding a rechargable battery for the headset it needs to be a "Thomson inc. 5-2707 3 wire" I tried a off brand with this model and didn't work. I was refered by rca to staples and 010phones.com and they carry this battery. please help me find an origanal battery please

My phone is making a lot of noise and static on in coming call so bad I can't talk. out going I can't make. I put in the number to dial call does not go through ,but I can hear the dial tone. do I need a new battery or is there something wrong with the phone itself.

Mine was doing the same and I just pressed the "find" button on the wall plug in thing- and the headset started working....you may want to try that.....?????

I, too, have this model phone and love it. The headset battery barely lasted 9 months. I've been bumped around to many places including Thompson, Radio Shack, etc. I do believe Thompson (800-338-0376) has the battery for the HANDset, but they DO NOT have the battery for the headset. The HEADset battery is available through partstore.com (on the internet) (866-925-7278). This shipping document gives you the pricing info:
