My daughter has an Iwantit ipod speaker model IW900 and it works/sounds fine with her ipod usind the dedicated ipod connector. On the the back of the speaker there is an Aux in socket. She would like to use a variety of MP3 Players as well; and has tried connecting the MP3 output/earphone socket to the Aux in socket but is unable to hear any sound with this method. The Manual has been lost or mislaid - can you assist please?

It took me a while to figure this one out. Firstly plug your device in to the aux socket and play some music so you can hear when it's correctly switched over. Turn on the iwantit using the switch at the back then press the play button once, you should see the lights on the buttons go brighter. Now press the play button again, this time holding it down for exactly 3 seconds. When you release the button you should be in aux mode and you should hear your music playing. Hope this helps, it took me about an hour of faffing around before I finally figured it out.

Digix BT-100 Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker says not connected when I try to pair it with my ipod.

Kathryn,

The speaker can only pair with one device. I had the same issue pairing it with my phone and then to my iPad.

You simply need to unpair it with your daughters iPod by turning off the bluetooth on that iPod, turn off then back ON the speaker and connect again to your own iPod by turning on the Bluetooth, Selecting BT100 from the list and wait for it to say CONNECTED (not paired).
Hope this helps!

Hi.. I have a bose wave ipod docking system.. the sound is amazing.. or was... until a few weeks back when i noticed that in order to hear my ipod... i had to tweak the ipod a little on the docking...

Are you using a voltage adapter of some kind to convert the ireland standard 220VAC to the USA standard 120VAC that this device uses? Over voltage can deplete an electronics life very quickly.
By the sound of the "thump-thump-thump" noise emitting from the device, you may have a broken ipod dock connector, or a short somewhere in the connector/wiring/device itself, or the ground has failed.
By the description of having to "tweak" your ipod to hear it, it sounds like you've slowly broken the dock connector. Check to see if it moves easily, or if you can hear anything loose.
This is more than likely fixable, but it's probably easier to replace the device than to fix a broken connector.

My 2yr old was playing with my ipod in my griffin speakers

Unfortunately, it sounds like she broke the jack inside of it. It has lost connection to the main circuit board, and is of course now useless. If you know what you are doing and it is NOT under warranty, you could try opening it and resoldering it, not that it will definitely work. Otherwise, if it is under warranty, back it up (if you can), and take it back to the store.

My iPod stopped playing through speakers- but only at work...

Esmurfette

First things First!
1) check on other speakers to see if your iPod work fine
2) check connector for loosing electric connectivity.
3) check with your headphones to see if your iPod play music well.
4) Check, power on the computer spk. you got. or the input that is working right.
Good Luck
