The link below will provide you the manuals for most sewing machines. You may select the brand of your sewing machine and check if they have an available manual for the specific model that you have.

If the model that you have is not included on their lists, you may click the "EMAIL" button and send a request to them.
Thank you and good luck!
Hi
Please check this linkfor the manual--
Riccar 1000 sewing machine manual
Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.
Daniel
DOESN'T HELP AT ALL I'M AFRAID. IF YOU CHECK, YOU'LL SEE THIS IS FOR THE 1010 (one thousand and ten) - NOT THE 1000 (one thousand). I ALREADY HAVE THIS LINK AND HAVE IT DOWNLOADED BUT IT'S A DIFFERENT MACHINE. I TRIED RICCAR AND GOT AN EMAIL BACK SAYING THEY DIDN'T RECOGNISE THIS MODEL AND GAVE ME A LINK TO A UK COMPANY. UNFORTUNATELY I'D TRIED THEM FIRST BEFORE CONTACTING RICCAR!!!
I HAVE ALREADY GONE DOWN THE ROAD OF TRYING TO OBTAIN FREE INFORMATION. I HAD HOPED THAT BY PAYING MY $5 YOU COULD COME UP WITH A SOLUTION WHICH I COULDN'T FIND OUT FOR MYSELF QUITE SO EASILY.
IF YOU CAN'T, THEN CAN YOU PLEASE REFUND MY $5 AS PER YOUR ADVERT.
THANKS

I was dealing with one of your experts, Daniel, but he failed to provide the information I required. I sent an email to both Daniel and your company in general but, as yet, have not had the courtesy of a reply from either - hence this request to another "expert". If you are unable to assist then I would, at least, request a reply.
Already tried this site before contacting FixYa. Also, tried Riccar direct. Neither can help as they say this is a machine originally supplied by their British outlet which is no longer operating and the 1000 was not supplied in the USA. Contrary to this I was told by another source that Riccar "had" re-opened in the UK. I contacted this company and, although they do supply Riccar, they don't do manuals for older models. Hence, as a last resort, I contacted FixYa, who, so far, have only been able to give me sources I have already tried.
All I need is instructions on how to thread the machine plus rewind and insert the bobbin. The tension and stitch controls I can figure out by trial and error. As I don't intend to travel to the USA for this purpose, I need someone in the UK who can assist me.
