I have the most recent version of Siruis Studio downloaded on my computer, but it does not recognice the radio when I attach to computer. I think I am hosed !

Return it where you bought it and upgrade to a Stiletto using the extended warranty you (hopefully) bought with your original S50.

I am most certain that you have to return the radio most likely you do have a faulty radio and you have only one or two choices here. Return or take it to a tech...I would use the warrenty and send it back...sounds very faulty...this is common with these radios.

Sirius S50 "No channels available"

I had the exact same problem happen to me yesterday with my S50. My guess is that the software got corrupted somehow. I fixed mine last night be reinstalling S50 software via USB cable to my PC. Note: You need My Sirius Studio application loaded on your PC. Be sure to press Exit button on My Sirius Software Ap after you reinstall S/W. Patiently wait for S50 to 100% complete before disconnecting. Then, manually turn on S50 (while holding in your hand); do NOT put in car/home dock yet. S50 will then update S/W. When this completes, now you can put in dock. I don't exactly recall, but I think the S50 indicated the dock was being updated, then it defaulted to channel 184 indicating to call Sirius to subscribe. Since I already have a subscription in place on my S50, I just pressed channel 2 (The Blend) from my remote, and then my S50 began updating all channels. Success! I'm so happy my S50 is now working again! Good luck to others experiencing same problem; hope this helps! I can only imagine the frustration trying to get help from Sirius folks for this type of problem...

Look for a reset button. I had a problem with my MP3 player, where it wouldn't start at all. Pressed the reset button and off it went.

Probleme s50 usb conect pc

You have to use My Sirius Studio as the interface to your S50 to add/remove MP3 songs. Depending on your Windows version (hopefully 2000 or later) you should be able to connect via USB and Windows will autodetect the device. My Sirius Studio is a poor man's iTunes where you have to add music files before you can drag them to the playlists you created on your S50. You can download the software from the Sirius web site, including the latest update. Keep in mind you have to disconnect the S50 from My Sirius Studio. You can't copy files to it and then unplug the USB cable.
