Sirius not working after taking to dealership for unrelated problem
How did the dealership resolve the battery draw issue. Did they rewire the Sirius for you. If so they could have wired the unit wrong. If you have a newer vehicle most of the wires in the dash are a very light gauge and most fuctions are controlled by, what's called a Body Control Module. Some of these wires are not a very good place to draw power from not onlt could it damage your Sirius Radio it could damage the electronics in your car as well. I suggest getting it looked at by a professional. Then go from there.

Is there audio on 184? It sounds like it just needs to be activated. Call Sirius with the SID #, and they can send a signal. Sirius' # is 888-539-7474
Activated Sirius service, unit says
Turn the unit on for about 15 minutes. Cycle through the channels, starting from channel 1. You won't have to go through all of them, but this should get it working. If not, go to your account online, or call SIRIUS and have them refresh your signal.
I want to buy sirius
No, but you can call Sirius IF somebody does take your radio and they will unsubscribe your radio's serial number, so that they can't hear anything, and it gets put on a 90day list so that the 'stealer' theif can't activate your radio.
I have a 2008 dodge ram slt and cant get
The information as to what is playing is part of the data stream sent by Sirius, and I've never seen a satellite receiver that does not display this information. If this is a factory unit, information on its operation should be in your owners manual (and your dealer is there to help you). If this is an aftermarket radio, you ought to have an owners manual which should describe how to change the information displayed on the faceplate. Either way, the unit should give you full information about the data stream it is receiving. If not, something is amiss and may fall under warranty coverage.
Sirius radio reset on dodge ram 2008
I have the same problem. When Sirius sent me a new "update" signal, I lost more channels. They don't have any idea. Did you figure out how to reset?
"buzz" when Sirius receiver is plugged into AUX input of new Camry
Did you have the unit installed at a shop that would have hardwired the power source? It sounds like either your power wire to the sirius unit is connected to a noisy power source (which is why you are picking up the alternator whine), or you have a poor ground connection to the unit.
If it was installed at a shop, take it back and have them move the power source to the same wires that the radio gets power from.
If you are using your cigarette lighter for power, unfortunately it sounds like your outlet doesn't give you the best source for powering an audio component. You might try stopping by a car audio shop and ask how much it would cost to hardwire the sirius' power to the back of your radio.
