Please i need technical help and be able to speak to a live perosn via phone to help with a xerox workcentre 24 color machine. will pay a fee of course. Does anyone have the XEROX software to tell the machine and reset the counters, reset the Fuser, reset the IBT Cleaner and the 2nd BTR.

7435 is located on the upper left side of the machine, Should have a yellow guide on it, 2 orange thumb screws are all that hold it in.Open the left side door, and look for labels that say CAUTION HOT..

Yeah, you do. Sadly that is only on a Xerox rep laptop.
The diagnostics in that machine are not in the processor but accessed via laptop.
Instead of calling Xerox, you can look up a dealer in your area. They would do it and if you have no maintenance agreement they will do it for much much cheaper, what city to you live in? Let me know and I will send you the names of dealers in your area.

Sounds like a phone line issue. Noise, static, low line voltage would cause that. It;s not a digital phone line or VOIP line is it? A 416 requires an analogue line.

In menus you browse to the service tab, then serivice diagnostics. Go to NVRAM reset and perform the NVM reset.
Before you do that, print out a configuration page if you want to rememebr the network settings. It will set the IP address back to default also.
