JVC TV lamp indicator light blinking new lamp

I just purhased a new lamp for my JVC it has only been in the TV 3 day and was working fine. Now the TV shuts off about every thirty minutes to and hour and the Lamp indicator light blinks. I can turn the TV back on and a picture shows but then shuts off again like I stated before about every thirty minutes or so. Do I have a bad bulb or is something else broken?

    hey i just put a new lamp in my jvc 52 inch tv hd-52G886 and the dam lamp repalcement light keeps blinking really fast and the bulb is good to and the tv wont turn on at all

If you purcased a LTI lamp then the possibilty of a bad lamp may be the case. LTI lamps are cheap and are poorly manufactured. if it is a JVC lamp then you may have further problems such as lamp balast, or thermal sensor. clean the fans and filtersfor better air flow. keeping the lanp cool is important for the life of the lamp.

You might want to check and see if that was the right lamp for that tv. You might have the wrong lamp

TV blue light comes on, then the red light blinks two times, on the 3rd blink, it goes into rapid blinking. I replaced the lamp and it worked for a week, but then the same issue. I put the old lamp back...
some units require a lamp counter reset.the ballast usually starts at extreme output and at certain hour interval the ballast would start to decrease voltage as the bulb ages.to reset on some models can be reset using the remote

Change the tv projection lamp inside the tv.The tv projection lamp life cycle has ended.U used this tv every day like 3 or 4 hours wright and the tv been in used for like 3 or 4 years already wright?Yes?Than ur projection lamp has die and it life cycle has ended.Change a new projection lamp for the tv than the tv should work again.

Heard a pop , bulb blew out , replaced bulb , it worked for two days , now red light blinks three times pauses then three times and so on , tv won't turn off light won't turn off unless I unplug...
3 blinks indicates lamp door is not on or has not been reinstalled properly. This also could mean the lamp door switch has failed itself. Try removing the lamp door and putting back on, if that doesnt correct the problem then I recommend having the switch replaced.

Tv comes on for about two minutes then shuts down. The lights stay lit.

JVC 52 " Rear Projection TV Blinking Lights and no Picture
You need to replace the power supply board. The new ones have a bigger heat sink - obviously JVC knows about the problem because they made the new ones bigger. It cost $250 from JVC and I installed it myself - took about 3 hours to do. If you are not tech savvy call a repairman. Hope this helps.

It can be the Lamp Ballast as well as the Color Wheel.
