Is my tomtom gps bluetooth adaptable to ford sync system

Have you checked with Tomtom support to confirm your Gps is not disabled or they have no service faults in the system.

First enable bluetooth function under the menu options. (if not bluetooth menu button is seen you will need to tap the "show all menu buttons" button in the menu)

once bluetooth is enabled follow the prompts that the One XL gives you to connect device.
Please make sure your device is in discoverable mode (blinking blue and red) during the process.

repair both ...start fresh from start.....do a hard restart on the TomTom...this is located on the last menu of your tomtom...Factory reset...it will erase recent destinations and favorites....but it usually clears the tomtom....Now try to repair both the phone and the tomtom

i would refer to your users manual and make sure that you are not using something that is not compatable with your system so you dont damage the unit

I really don't think so. According to TomTom's support site there are 'live' versions of some of its models but there is nothing I found to do this. You can, however, by software from Garmin and other GPS software makes that allow for installing the software to your BB Storm and using the internal GPS or connecting via bluetooth to an external GPS receiver at least.

Tomtom one xl's do not have bluetooth connections for audio. The bluetooth on a TT oneXL is for data transfer only (to update etc).
Unless it has changed in the last 2 months....

I believe the tomtom 1 phones can't make hands free call. The bluetooth is used only for traffic adviseries thru your bluetooth phone.

I had the same problem today. I restarted my palm, and the problem was solved.
