Is there any way to check the bulb life on a Sanyo PLC-XU30 projector? I know some projectors have an option on the menu screen which lets you know how long the bulb has left. Its just that i bought it off...

on my XU 55 the trick to read the lamp hours is to press and hold down the power button in about 20 seconds when the projector is turned on. there will come a window in the upper left corner that tells about total hours and lamp hours. the window will disappear quite fast, so one might need to do it twice.
