On the left side of the screen there is a volume button,,,there r to sets of buttons on the left side and one on the right ,the lower left side is volume and mute.it goes up and down...try that

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
Have you checked the switch on the top left of the phone?
That's the mute switch. Flip it in the Up position and that should fix your problem
If the phones ringing when you test the ringer in the settings, the ringer works. It's probably just muted..

There is a speaker test you can do. Press the feature button then on the dial pad press 805 followed by the # key or the next key until you see speaker test in the display. Press the test key or the hold button to start the test. You should hear a page tone at maximum volume. Press any button to end the test, the volume will return to its previous level.
The phone is mute by pressing the handsfree/mute button(bottom left button). sometimes the button labels do not match the feature that is programmed for the button. Press feature * 0 and any button to see what feature is programmed on the button.
This feature lets you select the number of times you want to phone to ring before the answering system answers a call.
1. Make sure your phone is OFF (not in talk mode). 2. Press the MUTE/PROG button to go to the main menu. 3. Press CID/VOL (up or down) button to scroll to HANDSET SETUP. 4. Press MUTE/PROG button to confirm. 5. Press the CID/VOL (up or down) button to scroll to the RING SELECT menu. 6. Press MUTE/PROG button to enter the menu. RING SELECT 3 4 5 6 TS shows in the display. 7. Use the CID/VOL (up or down) button to scroll to the your selection. The default setting is 5. 8. Press the MUTE/PROG button to confirm. You will hear a confirmation tone and the new setting shows in the display.
NOTE: If you select Toll Saver (TS) the unit answers after the 3rd ring if there are NEW messages, OR the unit answers after the 5th ring if there are NO new messages. This allows user to access their answerer from another location and then hang up after 4 rings to save long distance charges.
You can use the do not disturb function on your set. When used it will stop all ringing on your set(both line ring and intercom ring). To turn on DND, press feature 85, to turn the DND back off press feature #85.
The do not disturb feature (DND) allows you to mute the ringer, the base, and any registered handsets at the same time. The phone must be in standby mode. Press and hold do not disturb on the base. You will hear a confirmation tone, and the DND LED illuminates. To cancel the DND feature, press do not disturb again. You can also mute the ringer tone while the phone is ringing by pressing do not disturb on the base. Activating the DND while the answering system is off will turn the answering system on automatically. The answering system setting will reset to the original setting when you cancel the DND. If you press answer on/off when the DND and the answering system is on, both of the DND and the answering system will turn off. To mute the ringer tone temporarily for each handset or the base, when the phone is ringing, press the MUTE soft key on the handset or the base. The ringer tone will return to the previous setting starting with the next incoming call.
