My pump keeps trying to prime then alarm comes on and states clear drain

are you talking about the drain pump?if so if you cleaned out the pump and hoses and it still won't drain you have a bad pump,you have to replace the drain pump if error code keeps coming up

The pump works without priming anything. If the tank is vented, and you have fuel in the tank, and the pump is installed correctly, it should pump fuel out.
Are you sure the pump is getting power and ground ?

filling the filters before installing will make priming go more quickly.
once the pump is primed crack open the fuse line at the injector while cranking until you have fuel pulsing out, close it then move on to the next injector.
keep doing this until the engine runs smoothly.
it may start running before all the injectors have been purged so keep clear of all moving parts and a fire extinguisher handy would be a good idea.

turn off breaker to pump for a few minutes, then back on this will reset your alarm. If the problem returns ,check other posted solutions. In a few weeks i may have location of someone who repairs circuitboards for pentair pumps, as i am having one repaired now due to lightning hit.

Most of the time you are sawing air from thpumo lid. Hav you lubricated the o-ring in the lid? If that doesn't work, keep working your way forward and lubricate the 3 way valves as well.

I don't know why yours is giving you this indication but I have seen one do this when its DE filter needed to be backwashed. I am guessing that anything that restricts flow could cause this issue. I hope this helps.

There is either something blocking the suction side of this pump (blocked valve, strainer, strainer basket, leaves on main drain.) or the pump is not getting primed in the aloted amount of time. You can increase the priming time on the pump, or manually prime it, or just turn off the svrs feature temporarily until you get a good prime again. if the pump is not a self priming pump, it is possible that the windings may have burned out. use a hose to prime and then try in the Maint, position.

You can't manually reset. The machine will have to do it. I had the same problem, two green flashing lights with one red (water) all 3 would just keep flashing and not turn solid. No coffee can be made or hot water. I could not pump prime. The problem was the steam wand was blocked with old milk residue. It needs unblocking or you will never pump prime. I could not unscrew the steam wand...so I let it sink in a glass full of hot water for a few minutes and then turned the water knob counter clockwise to push out the softened residue. After that, everything was good. When water started flowing out of the steam wand, the red light turned off and the green lights turned solid. The obvious answer to why you can't pump prime is there is a blockage somewhere and best to start with the steam wand. --Mabada
