When spinning, my Bosch Front Loader W/Machine's drum is spinning unevenly causing the machine to jump around the floor even though it is level. With a heavy load it is of course worse.

Surely not during 'Rinse' cycle? That just adds water and gently tumbles to get the soap out and complete the washing by further agitating the clothes. You must mean during spinning and much depends on if it is a front loader, or a top loader. For both, machine not level front to back and left to right and / or not sitting firmly on all 4 feet.

either dampers have gone, its uneven (which i doubt after all this time) or overloaded

The shock absorbers may need greasing, Put a bit of grease (the thick motor type) around where the smaller diameter part of the shock absorber enters the larger part, the take of the lid (isolate from mains) and give a a few hefty shoves on the drum downwards to help the grease to work in. Excessive knocking on the lead up to full spin could also be caused by an uneven load, the unit as a whole not being level or the unit being located on a joisted floor which increases vibration.

It could have an imbalnce in the drum because the load is uneven, or your machine could be uneven on the floor,, try checking for the level of your machine

Your machine is probably not standing perfectly level. To level the machine, partly fill it with water. Make sure that the drum is standing in the middle of the machine and then adjust the machine until the water is at the same level all around at the nearest set of holes to the water. Check that the drum is still in the center of the outer drum. Make sure that the adjusting feet are all firmly on the floor and that you cannot rock the machine at all by hand. A top loader must be 100% level or it will shake.

How old is your GHW9150 washer?

Usually it is overload or load unbalanced due to uneven load.You must stop the machine and re-distribute the load and or weight!

But if nothing helps you may have a mechanical problem to be serviced!


Try these ideas first!

Is the load balanced?
A single or bulky item may cause imbalance. Add more items
or redistribute the load.
Washer makes noise or vibrates
Is the washer level?
The washer must be level. The four feet should be properly
installed, and the nuts should be tightened against the
washer cabinet.
As water is drained from the washer, you may hear air being
pulled through the pump. This happens during the end of
draining. It is normal.
Are you washing items with metal snaps, buckles or zippers?
You may hear metal items touching the washer drum. This is
normal.
Is washer installed on a sturdy and solid floor?
Refer to the “Installation Instructions” for flooring
requirements. Noise and vibration may be reduced by placing
a piece of ¾" (19.1 mm) plywood underneath your washer.
The plywood may extend underneath both washer and dryer
to keep them at equal heights.

More than likely it did not get reinstalled right after the move. All four of the leveling legs must be firmly touching the floor. If one is even the thickness of a piece of paper off the floor it will start to rock during spin and the problem just amplifies itself. Make sure it's perfectly level and that all the feet are firmly on the floor.

Remove the 4 transit bolts from the back of the washing machine. These are supposed to be remove during installation. If they are not removed the machine jumps around like crazy on the spin cycle and the machine is almost unusable.

Try placing it on a rubber mat or carpet that has a rubber backing. The floor may be too smooth and allows it to walk.
