1. Uninstall the monitor / then reinstall it with the software that came with the unit.
2. check and update your video card drivers
3.You also may have a faulty video inverter in the monitor and the monitor may need service.
4. You could also have a faulty video cable.
5. If you have another monitor that is known to be good and connect it then this will tell you if the connection to the pc is OK.
this will narrow it down to the monitor itself.

Try going into on screen menu and and look for factory reset on screen menu. You may have VGA cable problem or it can also be the video card. Please try this monitor on anther PC to see if the problem goes away.

Hi just got an older flat panel HP fl523 h monitor and everything works it is...

The discoloration problem is due to the near by magnetic field appliances like speakers which are very near to monitors ...
so what you have to do is just keep some distance to the monitor from the speakers and other magnetic appliances and then press menu button & just give degauss..

@the monitor appearance changed to pink shade and we are not able to see in this colour pl give me a solution to sent it back to normal mode

probably the color setting of the monitor has been changed.
on the monitor panel press the menu button and go to the color option.
see if increasing or decreasing the RED GREEN and BLUE color options sets back the monitor to normal.
usually some monitors have a reset option also, by selecting it everything will get back to normal.

HI,the color on my monitor has gone blueish its like

try reseating or/replacing the cable. If the connection isn't good then you can lose one of the three basic color channels resulting is a tinted screen color

My monitor is all weird colors

Generally, this is caused by the loss of one of the main color inputs (Red Green Blue). Do the Following:
  1. Check the cable connections at both the monitor and the computer. Look inside the connector for any bent bent pins (there may be some that appear to be missing, generally that is normal) then reset the connections firmly and tighten the retainer screw snug, but not extremely tight.
  2. If that doesn't resolve, try the monitor on a different system and see if the problem follows the monitor. If it does, try a different cable. If the problem doesn't occur on another system, then the video card of the effected system is suspect.
  3. If issue occurs on multiple systems with known good cables, then the monitor will need replacement.

Color issues: Monitor cannot display proper colors

So are you saying "all of a sudden" as in instantly it happened. Something might of knocked it or it might be broken.

Monitor is blue-evrything has a blue tint-i can see colors, they just have a ble tint

I've found that strange color tints are usually the result of a loose cable connection, either at the computer end of the monitor end.

Try unplugging both ends, and then replugging both nice and securely (might even try reversing the direction of the cable, if it is a simple VGA-VGA cable).
