Fill Cycle Won't Stop

My washer fill cycle isn't stopping and the water overflows. What part do I need. It is a Whirlpool LSC8244eqo - Heavy Duty Super Capacity Plus - 8 Cycle 2 speed. Thanks!

When I took the control panel off by removing two screws, I found that the tube had come off the water level switch/part; so a very simple and cheap fix. I did have to use a wire to clamp the tube onto the switch/part to keep it from coming loose. Thank you!

Heres hteaprt numbr for both the water level switch and the connecting tube, before i replace he switch make sure the tube is connected to rear of tub nad isnot cracked or kinked, and connected correctly to the switch for that matter. a hole in the tube would hamper he switches ability to sense when unit is full

It is a computer problem. My daughters machine did the same thing and the company came out and replaced the computer board and it fixed the problem.

The problem is the pressure switch has failed or the hose is plugged up, has a hole in it. These are usually inexpensive and are very easy to replace. Here is a video this will walk you thru testing and replacing a pressure switch. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.

Water will not stop when level is reached but starts next cycle

If the water will stop when you turn the washer off then the problem is the water level switch. It's a switch connected to a hose which goes between the inner and outer tub. You can blow on it and the water should cut off. The filling water puts pressure on the switch with the air in the hose.
If the water doesn't stop when you cut the washer off then the water inlet valve is probably stuck open. The water supply hoses on the back connect to the valves.

Whirlpool Estate Washer will not stop filling.

There is a fill switch that is not being triggered. Find out where that is. The dog hair could be the culprit. This switch is but cutting the tank fill. God Bless John
