When start computer show this error massage software exception

Step 1: Start Tally.

Step 2: Press CTRL+ALT+R at company info menu.
Step 3: Tally asks to select the company to rewrite. Select the desired company to rewrite and then press Enter key.
Step 4: Rewrite confirmation will be appeared on the screen, press "y" to start rewriting process.
Step 5:After rewriting the data Tally creates Tally.rew file in Tally folder.open it in any text editor and go through it about the corrupted data.

try to configure your configuration setting. change the data source where you data saved.

1)Start Tally and at Company Info Screen press Ctrl + Alt + R then select the corrupt company and press enter to start rewrite process.
2)If it does not worked then there is another method for rewrite:-
Click Start > Run > Type ’C:\(Tally 7.2 directory name)\Tally72.EXE C:\(Tally Data path)[space]/
then press enter
for Eg: c:\tally7.2\tally72.exe c:\tally7.2\data /
after pressing enter tally will get open and at company info screen press Ctrl + Alt + R then select the corrupt company.

Dear Archana,

If you are using tally legal. Please check whether the date & time are correct. If correct then check the data folder file permission (readonly, hidden, system attributes) are removed. If not while starting tally press Ctrl + Alt + R for and select company which one is getting error. It will rewrites the data of that particular company. Then close tally and open again check it. If this doesn't work u should contact tally support with u r licence key and product id.

Please give me a solution to get my data and I am using Tally7.2 version...
