It is due to the complaint of display IC.sometimes it will automatically clear the display and then it will become a blank dark colour display.so try to change your IC.
Most possible that the memory board has encountered some loose connection in the connectors or inthe IC mounts.Open and check on all connectors, look for possible dry soldering or loose joints inthe microprocessor section or in the mP section regulator supply.
Use a good solderring iron to solder all such suspected points.
test and repeat once again. Since the fault is intermittent, you will have to keep doing the soldering in the suspected sections and then trying to trial.
If the fault seems to wander, it might be an IC possible the memory,or the crystal in the processor.
Hope you check this out.
possible the firmwar is damage or sum ics have burn because of a power spike, or brownage while it was on charge, take it to a repair shop to be checked
The display IC of your handset it faulty,
sometimes it could be the LCD itself, but most of the time its the 25pin crystal IC. take it for a repair, tell them to try the lcd first, if that fails then its the display IC;s.

sounds like the LSB is defective as that controls all the high voltage and deflection circuits. If you go to the following link and leave them a email with your model number they should have a LSB board for your model. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
resolder the vertical IC that is whats making the CRTs go blank. Its a safety issue where the CRTs blank when there is no vertical deflection. Just resolder the output IC that should cure your problem
