Is the handwriting black ink? Colours come out poorly on most scanners.
You need to increase the contrast when scanning handwriting.

it wont scan or printing anything

you need a program that can scan and the scanner driver...do you have any software from the device...should have a scanner program...if you have the driver installed, usually a twain driver then any photo editing program can usually scan...

Hi,

Make sure that you completely installed the printer / scanner driver, and all the software use in order to operate and use the all in one printer. Also if you cannot print/copies scan, check the usb cable connecting from your printer to you computer.

try to scan the document from the using the printer panel ..not the computer interfaces ...

While I am trying to scan the images, I am getting the error Code[ffff:0024] & I am unable to scan anything from Epson 1500 model. While I switch on the scanner, it sounds lot from the scanner for continuous 2 minutes. I couldn't get scanned anything ... please
give me the solution.

As a work around try installing Windows fax and scan and using that program to scan your items - I have multiple printers and it works great for me

I got it to scan. I found this by the grace of God. I have the same problem with the print cartridges. But I was attemting to get into my camera. I went to the 'My computer' Icon on Windows XP. Under that part of the file system, I have the "HP PSC 1600 series" icon under the scanners and printers. I double clicked this, and it allowed me to scan an image.

first you try with install driver cd software and then select the prefence and choose the target where do want to go the scan file.
