My keurig is no longer putting out the same ammount of coffee/water as it used to. Normally I brew coffee in the morning by brewing two batches on the small cup setting to fill my togo mug. Yesterday morning I brewed my usual set up and it marely filled my mug half way. Upon closer inspection I realized that the brewer was not putting out the final burst of water that it usually does. Normally it will brew the coffee first at a small trickle and then when all is brewed a more forceful burst of water/coffee will seal the deal. It no longer has that final burst and thus no longer produces the same ammount of coffee.

SOURCE: coffee grounds in the cup

since you said usually... I suspect the rubber seal that surrounds the top needle is not seating well...
you can verify this by making a beverage with a k-cup and, just before the water starts, add a little hand pressure to the K-cup arm pushing down a little bit... not hard...
If it consistently makes a good beverage, then we focus our attention to that piece of the brewer...
when the consistency of the water changes, it tells me to look for leaks or unusual percolation of water...

you can verify the K-cup holder is ok... but another way to simulate the hand pressure is to put a shim of some sorts under the lip of the k-cup... like the thickness of a couple sheets of paper under the rim... not the actual k-cup... but the k-cup holder... raising it up a smidge is the same as the slight hand pressure...

I would look to see if the rubber seal has come loose around the top needle....

SOURCE: My brewer has 3 settings

Your problem is on the setting section of the coffee maker. Try to check if there is a visible adjuster knob or variable resistor to adjust the setting for the mug and the large mug. If there is none the adjustment is to be done by opening the system panel of your coffee maker.

How do we descale our Keurig coffee maker

Fill the water tank with vinegar and then brew a cup a coffee using nothing but putting lever in brew mode.

Repeat several times, then fill water tank with clear clean water and repeat brewing process until no vinegar taste remains.

I have used my Keurig for years and never had to de scale.
Are you sure it needs it.
If this is a continuing problem suggest a portable reverse osmosis unit and use water from it Vs your tap water.
They can be had on ebay for under $100 and are easy to install. Coffee tastes better too.

Keurig Mini Wont Brew Water won't come out

Had that happen just this morning with my mini-keurig, the needle was horribly clogged. Found a solution on another forum that said to stick a straw over the needle that punctures the cup and blow really hard, then suck really hard and it pulled the debris right out! Then do a cleaning cycle (water&vinegar) to clean out any buildup.

How do you turn on a Keurig to get a cup of coffee - I hit the button and it says green and ready but nothing is coming out - I put the cup's worth of water in the side container - what do I do to get it...

I know on mine I have to open and close the chamber where I put my coffee. It then blinks ready and I press the size cup I want to brew. Hope this helps! :) And sometimes if there isn't enough water in the reservoir it won't brew so try and putting more than just a cup's worth of water in it :)

My brewer will not let me change the brew size.

I had the same problem, contacted Keurig and they suggested the descale procedure, which did not work. I was able to resolve the problem however.
First I went through a gallon of white vinegar, without results. Then I did the following:
Went to Walmart and bought "Brew Rite". Tried 8 cup mixture (8 cups of water, two tablespoons of mix), did not work. Being persistant, put in another 8 cup mixture, and when the reservoir emptied of the mix I unplugged it and let it sit 2 hours with the mix in it and then put in clear water. By the time I got half way through with the clear water, the device started working properly, no problems since.
