How do i fit a new belt to my white knight cl447 wv dryer

On most dryers, the rear panel supports the drum. Lie the dryer on its front and remove the back panel. There is likely to be wiring connections on to the heater shield which may or may not have to be removed. There may be a bolt or nut going through the tub which has to be removed. The belt goes around the tub and there will be an "idler" pulley with a spring attached to tension the belt. The belt goes around the motor pulley and the idler pulley. The idler spring keeps the belt tight. I havent done a White Knight before, but nearly all dryers have the same way of fitting a belt.

Might want to check guide rollers that holds tumbler as it turns

IF there is a 'jockey pulley' fitted to guide the belt', this may not be running true, Or the pulley fitted to the motor shaft may be loose, check & tighten the securing screw which should locate the pulley to the motor drive shaft

Just a suggestion sounds like the drum is not resting on the felt

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE BACK AND EASE REARWARD - THEN SLIP DRUM BELT IN FRONT OF DRUM THEN REASSEMBLE - NOT EASY TO EXPLAIN

if you have the power and dryer is not truning. ck the belt it may came off or need to be replace.
