The oven is not working, and one of the range's surface cooking areas is also not working. The reparir person indicated that the problem was the range control unit. He suggested it be replaced.
Wher can I find the control unit and what is the cost.

Oven not workin very well might be a control issue, but top elements work completly seperate from oven control, and theres 2 electronics there $200 for touchpad galss assy and $375 for electronic timer, and switches for the burner might be 50.id make sure I trusted the repairman's diag before proceding

We are on our second KESS908SPS range in a month. Two burners have postage stamp sized black areas that are part of the coil area. A whirpool repair tech was set to replace two burners on the first unit, but we got the store to exchanged it. The replacement range has the same apparent bad areas on two burners and the delivery guy said they all look like that. Bad design, poor engineering, defective parts and no quality control. Either we get one that works out of the box or we go elsewhere. A brand new kitchen deserves better.
